The best time to visit the wild flowers of Namaqualand is usually in August and September. The flowers of Namaqualand are at their best after good winter rainfall. Good flower viewing is depending on sunny weather, enabling the flowers to open and display their splendour. We cannot guarantee spectacular sightings if the weather is not playing along, but to a limited extent we can alter the route to find the best flower sightings.
