3 Days / 2 Nights
Day 1 – Cape Town to Vanrynsdorp.
Depart Cape Town area and head North with the ever changing landscapes for Clanwilliam to visit the Ramskop Flower Garden. Depending on the the state of the flowers in the Biedouw Valley we will either go there or continue onto Klawer for a quick wine taste before visiting the world famous Kokkerboom Succulent Nursery in Vanrhynsdorp. This stop will prove to be one of the highlights of the day! We then head West to the Vredendal / Vanrhynsdorp area where we over night at the same Bed and Breakfast for two nights.
Day 2 – Vanrynsdorp to Nieuwoudville.
After an early breakfast we head on over the Knersvlakte up to Nieuwoudtville, known as the bulb capital of the world, via the spectacular Vanrhyns Pass where we will spend the day exploring this fascinating area, visiting amongst other things the spectacular and unexpected Nieuwoudtville waterfalls, the amazing Quiver Tree Forest with over 8000 trees! A visit to Matjiesfontein farm will, without a doubt be the highlight of the day! You will enjoy a picnic lunch amongst the flowers having also enjoyed some of the local pancakes in the church hall (If your tour falls over a Saturday). We return to the same B & B for dinner. A full and memorable day!
Day 3 – Vanrynsdorp back to Cape Town.
We head back to Cape Town via the West Coast via the towns of Lamberts Bay, Elandsbaai to Veldrif and if time permits to enjoy lunch at the well known coastal town of Paternoster or at Langebaan depending upon the showing of the flowers. Historically this day will also be a highlight for flowers as they will follow us well onto Cape Town.
Cost of 3 Day Tour Per Person Sharing:
R6650.00 PER PERSON SHARING- including transport, guide, accommodation, breakfast, picnic lunches and all park entrance fees. The price excludes all dinners, drinks and refreshments.
Single supplement is an additional R800pp.
We specialize in small groups and only have a maximum of 7 guests per tour.
Small suitcases and bring something warm to wear, comfortable walking shoes, hat and sunscreen and don’t forget your camera 🙂
